First Episode Psychosis Program Coordinator (Full Time)

The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking a First Episode Psychosis Program Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

The FEP Program Coordinator shall be responsible for assisting the Recovery Program Manager in the development, management, and supervision of the FEP program and the delivery of all services provided by the FEP program.  This will include conducting screenings, conducting assessments, and providing services for clients experiencing first episode psychosis, as well as the supervision of program staff, community outreach, and coordination of programming.

Qualifications:

Minimally possess the additional educational/professional credentials to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined by the Illinois Department of Human Services.  This includes: 

  • A master's or doctoral degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or a related service field, AND
  • Successfully completed 1,000 hours of practicum and/or internship under clinical and education supervision or has one year of documented clinical experience under the supervision of a QMHP
  • Possessing a valid license as a registered professional nurse and has training in mental health services or one year of clinical experience, under supervision, in treating problems related to mental illness, or specialized training in the treatment of children and adolescents
  • Applicants should also have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and liability insurance on their vehicle.
