Tim is an Army Veteran with many years of lived experience in both active and recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. Tim is a graduate of the Heartland Community College Recovery Support Specialist Certificate program. He completed a term of service with Illinois Recovery Corps in July 2023. Graduated from Pain University (Tomah, Wi. VA clinic) in 2022. He is a Certified Tai Chi Easy Leader and former AFSCME Union Steward.

Tim has a passion for recovery and the joy that it has brought to his life. He is eager to share his experience in hopes to enhance the recovery of others. He truly believes that there are no limits to recovery and hopes to be a part of yours at the Recovery Community Center.
