Myranda Whitman

Medical Services Program Manager

Myranda is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been at the Center since 2014, working in various nursing positions such as Psychiatric Nurse, Nurse Coordinator, and now Nurse Practitioner.

Myranda earned her BSN from Illinois State University’s Mennonite College of Nursing in 2014 and her Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Maryville University in 2021. She has eight years of experience in the mental health field beginning as a nurse in 2014 until the present time.

Myranda has experience serving clients ages 12 and up with diagnoses including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, PTSD, and more. She takes a holistic approach, encouraging both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options. Myranda believes collaboration between all of the clients’ providers is very important to ensure they are getting the best care possible. She considers herself an advocate for her clients, promotes their independence, and individualizes each client’s treatment plan to their specific case.
